The Fairfield Flash and Silver Lake Baristas were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd at Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Tony Gómez helped his team muscle past the Fairfield Flash, 6-3. In the game, the Silver Lake shortstop went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI. At 18-28, the Baristas are currently last in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division.

Gómez hit a 2-run single in the top of the third to help the Silver Lake cause. The single, which was hit off Yeong-suk Kim, allowed Silver Lake to take a 2-0 lead.

"We'll savor this win," Gómez told the Silver Lake Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."
