Victory Pushes Escape Record to 23-18
|
Escape second baseman Dylan Light put his stamp on his team's 8-2 win over the Bowling Green Racers. Light went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Scranton in the contest. Aurelien Bonello earned the win for Scranton. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits, while striking out 3. With the win, he raised his record to 4-1. Katsunan Sato recorded the save for Scranton, his 1st of the season.
Light in the top of the fourth had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and the Escape leading 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
"We'll keep our chins up and get ready for the next game," said losing manager Walt Dobson.
Scranton bumps their record to 23-18 with the win.
