Argonauts Continue Skid Thanks to Onishi, Bombers
The Bronx Bombers topped the Astoria Argonauts by the score of 8-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Mitsuharu Onishi. Onishi went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for the Bombers on the day. Bronx reliever Tom Pick picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-1. Dave Hamm was collared with the loss. The losses continue to mount for Astoria, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Bronx grabbed the momentum in the top of the eighth, when Onishi hit a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Bombers out in front, 7-4.

"It's a long season," said Onishi. "We'll keep working to improve."
