Antioch got a terrific performance from catcher Gerard Vivian, but it wasn't enough to beat the Billings Mustangs. Billings won the Cobb Field contest, 6-3. Vivian was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Billings reliever Izo Rin was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Matsuyo Koda. The Mustangs now own a record of 23-18.

Also having an impact was center fielder David Ramírez, who stroked a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the third for Billings. For the game, Ramírez went 1-2 with a triple and 2 walks.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Billings manager Greg Morgan.
