The Joplin Fireballs relied on the hitting of right fielder Gil Keyworth to stop the Omaha Raptors, 6-4. For the game, Keyworth went 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Joplin starter Nicholas Norman was credited with the win after throwing 100 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. Tomoyuki Kiyomizu picked up the save for Joplin, his 9th of the year.
