Armando Ramos did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Vancouver Canadians from losing, 6-3, to the Albuquerque Cacti at Stanley Park. Ramos went 2-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Cacti saw their record improve to 20-20.

In the top of the second inning, Munoto Okuta muscled up and hit a 2-run home run. It put Albuquerque ahead, 2-0. For the game, Okuta was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We take it day by day here," said Okuta, "and today was a good one for us."
