The Silver Lake Baristas topped the Scranton Escape, 7-4, in Nick Adenhart League action at Hell Stadium. The player of the game was Silver Lake pitcher and Ichinomiya, Japan native Arata Shimizu. The save went to Cyprien Bataille, his 2nd this season. With the victory, the Baristas record now stands at 15-26.

The Silver Lake triumph was a team effort. Not least among the contributors was Ze-min Shuo. In the top of the third, the Silver Lake left fielder hit a 2-run home run. It staked his team to a 3-1 lead.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Shimizu told the Silver Lake Daily News. "It's as simple as that."
