Chicago and Acapulco put this game in the books despite some rain.

The Chicago Titans got a good effort from starter Lorenzo Espinoza in defeating the Acapulco Banditos at Underdogs Ballpark. The final score was 5-2. Tsuneyo Kichikawa earned his 4th save in 4 tries.

Norishige Iwamoto had a big hit for Chicago in the top of the fourth inning. With Chicago leading 2-1, Iwamoto hit a 2-run single. It was his 32nd hit of the season and put the Titans up, 4-1.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Iwamoto told the Chicago Herald.

Chicago is 5th in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division with a record of 19-20.
