Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Rhett Cawse, the Acapulco Banditos defeated the Chicago Titans, 8-6. Cawse went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Banditos. The save was credited to Lex Herrewijn, his 12th. The second-place Banditos have won 8 straight games.

A key moment came in the bottom of the third inning when Banditos shortstop Tomiji Kohara socked a 0-1 cutter to left for a run-scoring single, putting Acapulco up, 7-6.
