The Fairfield Flash knocked off the Bowling Green Racers, 9-5, at Top of the Hill. Justin Dixon, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Fairfield won. The right fielder went 4-5 with a triple and 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Yeong-suk Kim earned the win for Fairfield. He lasted 5 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 4 hits, while striking out 7. With the win, he raised his record to 2-2. The contest featured some late-game dramatics from Fairfield right fielder Justin Dixon. In the top of the eighth inning, with two out and the bases loaded, Dixon hit a bases-clearing triple to help Fairfield seize the win.
