The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Vancouver Canadians, 7-3, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field. The player of the game was Indian Wells center fielder Brandon Dawson. Indian Wells reliever Miguel Bernal picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Felipe De La Hoya took the loss. Today's win puts Indian Wells at 16-23, while Vancouver falls to 20-17.

An important at-bat for Indian Wells came with one out in the bottom of the seventh. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Dawson hit a 3-run home run, which contributed to the Aeropostales win.

"Good win for us," said Dawson. "We'll strap it on and go after the next one."
