Bumblebees Deal Death Stars 6-3 Setback
|
The Pasadena Bumblebees topped the Detroit Death Stars, 6-3, with right fielder Seitaro Kiyomizu playing a big role. Kiyomizu went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Bumblebees in the win. Gilberto Chávez earned his 2nd save in 2 tries. The Bumblebees sit in last place in the Darryl Kile League Joe Torre Division with a record of 12-21.
Tin-jong Yi was a key contributor to the win for the Bumblebees. In the bottom of the seventh with two out, the light-hitting second baseman stroked a single to center. He was 1 for 4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
