Chicago Titans starter Yoshida Yamamoto kept the Scranton Escape hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-1 win. Chicago is in 5th place in the Nick Adenhart League Tony La Russa Division with a record of 17-19.

Orlando Martínez helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 3-run home run to give Chicago a 3-0 lead.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Chicago skipper Bill Riordan. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
