Baristas Fall Short, 3-2, at Chicago
|
The Chicago Titans and Silver Lake Baristas played a tight game at The War Dome, with the hosts claiming the hard-fought win.
Chicago Titans starter Lorenzo Espinoza was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Silver Lake Baristas, 3-2. Chicago is now 16-18.
In the bottom of the fifth, Chicago left fielder Takahashi Takahashi had a productive at-bat. With the bases empty and one out, Takahashi stroked a solo home run to right. It made the score 3-2, Chicago. For the game, he went 2 for 3 with a home run.
Takahashi said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
