The Bronx Bombers dealt the Peoria Caterpillars a 13-4 loss at Bronx Ballpark. Masanori Kato was the star on offense. He went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. A defensive miscue in the bottom of the second cost the Caterpillars. With Bronx trailing 1-0, Griff Horrocks reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 1 run. Bronx ended up winning the ballgame.
