In a tight contest at Albuquerque Sports Stadium, the Albuquerque Cacti edged the Fort Worth Cats by the score of 7-6. Albuquerque third baseman John Gregg, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. With the loss, Fort Worth sinks to 15-17.

The clutch at-bat in the bottom of the ninth belonged to Gregg. Facing Sumitomo Kondo with the bases loaded, the Albuquerque third baseman had a run-scoring double. Game over, walk-off style!

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Gregg said.
