Vancouver third baseman Ignacio Ochoa had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Canton Paczkis, 7-3. Po-sin Pang, the winner, improved to 3-0. He held Canton to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. The win gives Vancouver a record of 18-13.

Vancouver took a 4-2 lead on Aki Daijo's 1st hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Daijo hit in the top of the seventh, left Canton pitcher Eduardo Diadoni visibly frustrated.
