The Brooklyn Black Knights got a magnificent performance from pitcher Elijah Green, who stifled the Portland offense en route to a 2-0 Black Knights win at Waterfront Park. Ti-an Dan was called on to finish, recording his 4th save. The Beavers fall to 9-12 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2032 season.

Fernando Murillo changed the game with one swing of the bat. With no one out in the top of the seventh, the Brooklyn left fielder hammered a solo home run off Michael Smith. It was his 4th home run of the season. With it, Brooklyn took the lead, 1-0.

"We did just enough to win," Murillo said.
