Boone hits 3 home runs, Mustangs Move to 22-10
Both teams had their chances, but the Billings Mustangs eventually prevailed at Golden Fleece Park.

The Billings Mustangs dealt the Astoria Argonauts a 11-10 loss at Golden Fleece Park. Moo-hyun Boone was the star on offense. He hit 3 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 3. Billings reliever Izo Rin picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Kyoji Kato absorbed the loss.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and one out in the top of the sixth inning. That's when first baseman Way-ming Wang, who leads the DKL in home runs with 12, hit a sacrifice fly. The Mustangs went on to win.

Astoria manager Tony Allison said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score in double digits, you expect to win the game."

The Mustangs, now 22-10, have played some good baseball in the early going.
