Eric Swinney added some punch to the Bronx offense, helping them outmuscle the Albuquerque Cacti, 10-9. In the game, Swinney, who was drafted in the two round of the 2024 draft, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Bronx reliever Ewan Pethick, now 1-4. The loser was Izumo Ikarashi. The Bombers, with just their 7th win in 28 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

In the bottom of the ninth, with one out and the game tied, 9-9, pinch hitter Wang Tong won it for Bronx. With a runner on 1st, Tong hit a full count fastball from Tom Murchison for a run-scoring double, giving his team a 10-9 win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Swinney.
