Mustangs Take Down Paczkis, 6-3
|
Starting pitcher Barnabé Bacm pitched well enough to help the Billings Mustangs beat the Canton Paczkis by the score of 6-3. Diego Castro finished the game for Billings and earned his 10th save. Billings is off to a hot start at 21-9.
With runners on 1st and 2nd and no one out in the bottom of the second inning, left fielder Pete Rowland delivered big for the Mustangs. Billings was leading 1-0 when he belted a 3-run home run.
"We put it together today and came out with the win," Rowland said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
