Tornadoes Saddle Bombers with 3-1 Loss
|
The Kansas City Tornadoes got a magnificent performance from pitcher Enrique Canó, who muffled the South Carolina offense en route to a tight 3-1 Tornadoes win at Bomber Ballpark. Canó got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. Canó allowed 1 earned run. The Tornadoes, now 7-14, have not found much traction so far in 2032.
Also having an impact was third baseman Paahana Lima, who stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth for Kansas City. For the game, Lima was 3 for 3 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
