The Antioch Coal Miners downed the Fairfield Flash, 4-2, in 10 innings. Héctor Lara led the way, going 2-for-3 for Antioch. Antioch reliever Javier Galindo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Saiyid Mashwanis was saddled with the loss. It was the 21st win in 30 games this year for the defending champion Coal Miners, who are picking up where they left off.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Lara hit a fastball from Saiyid Mashwanis for a 2-run home run. The Coal Miners, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This joint was rocking," said Lara.
