Vancouver starter Yoshiaki Kojima had a strong outing against the Minneapolis Freeze at The Ice Box. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 6-4 win. Kojima, now 2-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. With the win, Vancouver goes to 15-13.

With a runner on 2nd and two out in the top of the first inning, third baseman Ignacio Ochoa delivered big for the Canadians. Vancouver was leading 1-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
