Albuquerque right fielder Jorge Quintero had a 3-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Bronx Bombers, 5-3. Albuquerque starter Gabresilassie Cherono was credited with the win after throwing 103 pitches over 7.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-2. Bronx, at 6-20, is off to a poor start in 2032.

John Gregg helped out the Albuquerque cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the pinch hitter was 1-1 with a walk.

Quintero expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
