Fans who gathered at The Hole saw a good contest between the Acapulco Banditos and Pasadena Bumblebees.
The Acapulco Banditos topped the Pasadena Bumblebees, 6-4, in Nick Adenhart League action at The Hole. The player of the game was Acapulco right fielder Tony Hayes. Bob Alexander, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 4-1. Lex Herrewijn nailed down his 9th save.
The game turned with two out in the top of the fourth when Hayes hit a 2-run home run. It propelled the Banditos into the lead, 5-3.
"I like to lead by example," said Hayes. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
With the win, Acapulco pushes its record to 14-14.
