The Acapulco Banditos had to overcome a big game from Astoria first baseman Yeong-il Kim to leave Underdogs Ballpark with a 13-4 victory. Kim went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Lonnie Young, who went 5.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 1-2. Denny Goodwin picked up the save, his 1st.

In the bottom of the fourth, Acapulco center fielder Jonathan Reynaud had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Reynaud stroked a grand slam home run to right. It made the score 6-2, Acapulco. For the game, he was 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4.
