Raptors Stymie Silver Lake, Take 4-1 Win

The Omaha Raptors went home winners at Ashton Gate, thanks in large part to starter Jesús Castillo. Castillo silenced the Silver Lake Baristas, enabling Omaha to grab the 4-1 win. In 6 innings, Castillo surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. Wilson Deleón closed the door for Omaha, picking up his 5th save of the year.
Hector Lopez's at-bat in the top of the seventh was significant for the Raptors. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Omaha leading 2-1, the center fielder got hit by a pitch, driving in 1 run.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Castillo.
The Baristas fall to 9-18 and continue their lackluster start in 2032.
