Scranton got a first-rate effort from pitcher Aurelien Bonello, who frustrated Detroit hitters en route to a 1-0 Escape triumph at Hell Stadium. Scranton reliever Javier Colón was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Raul Nunez took the loss. The Escape, now 19-7, have played some good baseball in the early going.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Scranton first baseman Kian-tat Au, facing Raul Nunez, had a run-scoring single. It gave the Escape the 1-0 win.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Detroit manager David Parker said following the tough loss.
