Minneapolis pitcher Curt Hart did his part in helping his team beat the Albuquerque Cacti, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The winning pitcher was Hart, now 4-0. He tossed 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 4. The Cacti fall to 12-13 and continue their uneasy start to the 2032 season.
Minneapolis left fielder Danny Adolf helped the Freeze go up, 1-0, in the top of the fifth inning. With the game tied, Adolf hit a solo home run off Albuquerque pitcher Koryusai Uchida.
Adolf told the Minneapolis News: "Sometimes the big stage is not big enough for me."
