The Acapulco Banditos defeated the Astoria Argonauts, 4-2, in Nick Adenhart League action at Underdogs Ballpark, with Acapulco pitcher Jason Walker named player of the game. Walker got the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed 4 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. Walker allowed 1 earned run. Lex Herrewijn picked up the save, his 8th.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth inning. Facing Astoria hurler Mike Taylor, Jonathan Reynaud, who is tied for 4th in the NAL in stolen bases with 9, drew a walk. The Banditos went on to win.
