Peoria rode a fine outing from starter Matt Pinke to victory over the Pasadena Bumblebees at Excavatar Park. The final score was 4-2. Adam Stickells picked up the save, his 2nd. The win leaves Peoria with a record of 14-9.
In the bottom of the fifth, third baseman Yang Xing hit a run-scoring single to left. The single, which was hit off of Bryan Fulcher, gave Peoria a 3-2 lead.
"The effort we put into this one paid off," Xing said.
