José Morín knocked in all 3 runs for the Bowling Green Racers, helping them beat the Canton Paczkis, 3-2. Ah-cy Jian, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 0.1 innings. With their winning streak at 4, the Racers have raced to a strong start this season.
Morín turned the game around in the bottom of the seventh. Facing Luis Marés, the Bowling Green right fielder rapped a 3-run home run. Suddenly, the 2-0 Bowling Green deficit turned into a 3-2 lead.
"That's baseball," said Canton manager Omar Arteaga. "You're not always going to be hitting on all cylinders."
