The exploits of left fielder Dave Mitchell helped the Acapulco Banditos defeat the Fort Worth Cats, 5-2. Mitchell went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. Earning his 7th save of the year was Lex Herrewijn. The Cats fall to 11-13 and continue their wobbly start to the 2032 season.

The fans who came in support of the Banditos were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Underdogs Ballpark.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Acapulco skipper John Perry.
