Riding the 4-hit performance of the 23-year old right fielder Yoshihiro Takahashi, the Scranton Escape stopped the Vancouver Canadians, 7-2. Scranton, at 18-6, has sizzled in the early going.

One of the key players for the Escape was designated hitter Ryuichi Kobayashi, who drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning. For the game, Kobayashi was 2 for 5 with a double.

"We looked pretty good up and down," said Scranton manager Julián Cancil.
