The Indian Wells Aeropostales got a stellar effort from pitcher Nicholas Winslow, helping Indian Wells score a 4-2 win over the visiting Fairfield Flash. Indian Wells reliever Naonobu Miyata was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Bi`nh Trieu took the loss. With the win, Indian Wells boosts its record to 14-10.

Hsui-chen Shui came through for Indian Wells when he hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the eighth. With the bases loaded, he hit a 0-1 cutter to center field, staking his team to a 4-2 lead.

"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Indian Wells skipper Mario Perez. "I can't complain."
