The Bronx Bombers racked up a win at Bronx Ballpark, bumping off the Minneapolis Freeze, 7-1. Taylor Longbottom, who started for Bronx, pitched effectively for his team. Despite the win, Bronx, now 4-16, is off to a terrible start.

Glenn Roethlisberger struck a blow for the Bombers in the bottom of the third when he hit a solo home run. It put his team ahead, 2-1. For the game, Roethlisberger was 1-3 with a home run.

"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Longbottom. "Successful pitchers do it."
