Cacti Rally For 6-2 Win

The Albuquerque Cacti got a stellar performance from pitcher Tadahisa Minami, who handcuffed the Silver Lake offense en route to a 6-2 win at Ashton Gate. Albuquerque reliever Hisataro Sato picked up the win, upping his record to 1-3. Cyprien Bataille took the loss. The win leaves Albuquerque with a record of 11-11.
Runs were few and far between in this one. So, Scotti Scannell's at-bat with one out in the top of the tenth was crucial. The Albuquerque catcher hit a run-scoring double, to give his team a 3-2 lead.
"There's no quit in this team," said Cacti manager Lou Hampton.
