Aeropostales Defeat Titans, 7-4
|
The Indian Wells Aeropostales topped the Chicago Titans, 7-4, in Nick Adenhart League action at Stars Field. The player of the game was Indian Wells pitcher and Aurora, Illinois native Ron Robinson. Indian Wells reliever Pablo Alomar picked up the win, bumping his record to 1-0. Lorenzo Espinoza was collared with the loss. The Titans fall to 7-12 and continue their lackluster start in 2032.
Indian Wells grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, Lewis Pitman delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 2-1 in favor of the Aeropostales.
"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Robinson.
