The home team gave the The Death Star fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Death Stars faced a stiff challenge from Bronx pitcher Maurice Oakley, but persevered to claim a win at The Death Star. The final score was 5-4. Oakley went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Yoshikazu Ichihara, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.

The Death Stars were down to their final out when left fielder Kol-in-sen Pai turned a first pitch curveball from Ewan Pethick into a 2-run single. The walk-off single made the The Death Star crowd go wild.

"This game tested our mettle," said Pai.

Bronx, at 3-13, has had a dismal start to the season.
