Antonio Roman knocked in all 3 runs for the Hawaii Islanders, helping them beat the Dallas Texans, 3-1. Winston Boer was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. With the loss, Dallas is 10-8.
Roman provided the big break for the Islanders in the top of the third inning. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run, helping Hawaii to get the win.
"We didn't string enough hits together to win the game," said tight-lipped Dallas manager Anastasio Ojeda. "Obviously."
