The Fairfield Flash got a good effort from starter Yeong-suk Kim in defeating the Albuquerque Cacti at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The final score was 4-2. Kim, the winner, moves to 1-1. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 2 walks. Earning his 4th save of the year was Ralph Petersen.

Juan Carlos Cruz had a big 2-run single for the Flash in the top of the fourth inning. With Fairfield leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Shuichi Imai and stroked the single to center. It was his 5th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Flash ahead, 4-1.

"We're just feeding off each other right now," said Kim.

The Cacti fall to 7-9 and continue their lackluster start in 2032.
