Acapulco right-hander Jason Walker was in fine form, shutting out the Silver Lake Baristas, 3-0. Lex Herrewijn closed it out for his 2nd save. The Baristas, now 6-10, continue their slow start.
A key at-bat came in the top of the sixth inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Françisco Gazo, hit a bases-clearing double. It made the score 3-0, Acapulco, and helped them go on to win.
"I play this game for myself and my family, but of course it's always nice when we can win," said Gazo.
