Yasuda hits 2 home runs, Caterpillars Move to 8-5
|
Kosaku Yasuda made an impact in the 7-2 Peoria win over Philadelphia. Yasuda belted 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Peoria, now 8-5, has played well in the early going.
Yasuda brought the fans to their feet in the bottom of the second, when the 29-year old first baseman ripped a grand slam home run. The round-tripper put Peoria ahead, 4-0.
"We've got a great group of guys," Yasuda said, "and we're having fun right now."
