The Durham Bulls Athletic Park faithful were treated to a dramatic, walk-off win.

Behind a solid performance from second baseman Susumu Kono, the Fairfield Flash defeated the Chicago Titans, 7-5. Kono went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for the Flash. The Flash raised their record to 7-6.

Fairfield won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With no outs and Nobuharu Fujita on the mound for Chicago, catcher Jorge Escobedo hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Flash fans to their feet.

"This place was electric at the end," Escobedo said.
