|
António Mejía pitched a gem in leading Pasadena to a 9-0 victory over the Reno Raiders. The win leaves Pasadena with a record of 5-4.
Mejía earned the win to move to 1-0. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 2 hits, striking out 6 and walking 3. The left-hander allowed the Raiders few scoring opportunities.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Mejía said.
