Floyd McAuley had a good game, but he could not keep the Albuquerque Cacti from falling, 7-6, to the Indian Wells Aeropostales at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. The Albuquerque first baseman went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 in the loss. Indian Wells reliever Ron Robinson was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Hisataro Sato took the loss for Albuquerque. The Cacti fall to 4-6 and continue their wobbly start to the 2032 season.

Dave Lister's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With one out, he rapped a changeup from Hisataro Sato for a run-scoring triple. It put Indian Wells in front, 7-6.

In postgame remarks, Lister simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
