Bombers Losing Streak at 8 After Extra-Inning Loss to Freedom
The Philadelphia Freedom did just enough to secure a 6-5 victory over the Bronx Bombers at The Bell. Nobody did more than pitcher Matis Barrier, who captured player of the game honors. Philadelphia goes to 5-3 with the win.

Late-game drama came in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and the bases loaded, Philadelphia shortstop Mitchell Courtenay hit a run-scoring single, helping his team get the win.

"This losing is getting old," said Bronx manager Weston Papenfuss.
