Fairfield and Bowling Green got after it at Top of the Hill.

The exploits of catcher Jorge Escobedo helped the Fairfield Flash defeat the Bowling Green Racers, 8-2. Escobedo went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The Flash, now 3-6, have not found much traction so far in 2032.

Escobedo contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the seventh. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one of the critical at-bats that helped Fairfield get the win.
