Banditos Suffer 9-6 Setback
Lance Adams did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Acapulco Banditos from losing, 9-6, to the Chicago Titans at The War Dome. Adams went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. With the win, Chicago boosts its record to 4-4.

Some sloppy defense hurt the Banditos. In the bottom of the fifth, with Chicago trailing 4-3, Aamir Hassani was at the plate when Chicago scored 2 on an error. The miscue enabled the Titans to go in front, 5-4.

"I like to lead by example," said Hassani. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
